K-Drama series and shows are now on an apparent rise across the globe. As the access to these materials continues to widen, it is not surprising why many are becoming more open to witnessing productions from South Korean entertainment.
On Netflix alone, there are nearly 200 titles available for subscribers to stream. But, not all of these are created equal. Accordingly, AllKpop released a short list of which materials are the best to watch.
Vincenzo
Vincenzo is one of the Korean series listed on the publication’s recommendations. It is a Netflix Original material, featuring Song Joong Ki.
Apart from its action and suspense genre, it, also, offers a combination of humor and inspiring moments. It recently ended its course, and has become a hit on the streaming platform.

What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim
What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim is another top K-Drama that everyone should, reportedly, watch “at least once in their lifetime. It features Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young, who play the lead roles of Lee Young Joon and Kim Mi So, respectively.
Hotel de Luna
Next on the list is Hotel Del Luna, which stars IU as its lead character. It follows the story of an elite hotelier, alongside her manager, as they service the titular hotel that only caters to ghosts.

The other K-Dramas on the list are True Beauty, Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok-Joo, The Penthouse, and True Beauty. But, despite the success and popularity of these titles, some netizens seemingly concede that not everything on this list is the best of the best.
Meanwhile, Oprah Daily, also, released its own “list” of the best Korean dramas and series to watch, particularly on Netflix. As noted, these titles are “addicting,” causing many individuals to binge-watch them.
These include It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, Crash Landing On You, Kingdom, Romance Is A Bonus Book, Because This Is My First Life, Reply 1988, and The Inheritors. Some of the most underrated titles that are, also, on the list are The K2, When The Camellia Blooms, A Korean Odyssey, Mr. Sunshine, and Vagabond.
While there are tons of lists of the best K-Drama series available on various online platforms, there are, also, talks and discussions among Korean series fans, revealing their thoughts about the “worst” titles of all time. In a thread on Reddit, several Redditors shared some titles that they think they wasted their time on by watching them.

These include About Time, Bride of Water God, Playful Kiss, Angel Eyes, and Fashion King. Some netizens mentioned Memories of the Alhambra, as well, but, with reservations. As noted, the K-Drama series is great except for its ending.
