Chris Harrison is overjoyed that he is no longer a member of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchise.
According to a source, the former host still watches the show because he privately believes they made a mistake by letting him go.
Aside from that, Harrison is overjoyed to learn that the franchise is losing its devoted fans due to poor ratings.
An informant said:
“He’s confident that the reason it isn’t doing so well is because it lacks his magnetic presence. He thinks it’s absolutely karma.”
After years of hosting the shows, Harrison announced his departure from the franchise last year after being accused of backing a contestant who made racist remarks on the show.
Following the backlash, Harrison felt it was time to leave the franchise for good. He was succeeded by a former participant who currently hosts the show.
However, while it is true that The Bachelorette’s ratings are not as great as they once were, Harrison is not enjoying the franchise’s losses.
It’s also not true that Harrison believes the show’s poor performance is karma because he’s no longer a part of it. After all, The Bachelor has been his home for many years, and leaving the program doesn’t mean he’ll cut relationships with everyone he’s met along the way.
Meanwhile, The Bachelorette broke precedent during its 19th season by hiring two previous contestants to host the show. Gabby and Rachel are looking for love and aim to be engaged by the end of the season.
However, having each other undergo the voyage together does not guarantee that their journey will be smooth. After all, they are fighting for the same people’s love. Finally, the bachelors will have the opportunity to choose who they came for.
Rachel, for example, previously offered her rose to one of the male competitors but was then informed that he was there for Gabby. Gabby experienced a similar situation because the man she was interested in wanted to get to know Rachel better.
So, while the rest of the season is unknown, it will almost certainly be entertaining.
