Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham allegedly feuded after the former declined to wear a gown designed by her mother-in-law.
Worse, Peltz is accused of lying about what actually occurred based on what she claimed during her interview.
Brooklyn Beckham’s wife told Woman’s Day that she was meant to wear a Victoria Beckham creation to her wedding. Posh Spice, however, informed her at the last minute that she would be unable to accommodate her wedding gown.
As a result, the American model was forced to wear a Valentino gown.
However, sources close to Victoria maintain that this is not the case. After all, the mother of four had planned to design Peltz’s gown, especially since she would be her first daughter-in-law, but she was the one who backed out at the last minute.
The insider claimed:
“In what world would she not have wanted to design her firstborn child’s bride’s gown? It makes no sense.”
According to the source, Brooklyn’s decision to use Peltz’s surname surprised his entire family. And it appeared as though the young pair was attempting to break down barriers but failing to wow the public.
After all, it is more typical for the bride to take their husband’s surname when they marry. Most of the time, the groom does not use the bride’s maiden name.
Brooklyn, on the other hand, supposedly wants to be known as Brooklyn Peltz Beckham in honor of his wife. But he’s accused of wanting to be associated with the surname since he knows how wealthy Peltz’s family is.
The tipster stated:
“The whole thing does rather smack of Nicola using her rich father’s Hollywood connections to get Brooklyn out there in such a blatant way. Vic and David love their son, but they were also encouraging him to graft his way up the ladder on his own merits. But Nicola and her family have blown that out of the water.”
However, the statements of the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt. There’s no evidence that Peltz and Victoria are feuding right now. In fact, during a recent interview, the model claimed that everyone in her family gets along great.
As a result, all of the tabloid’s assertions regarding the in-laws are false.
