Piers Morgan recently criticized Meghan Markle for releasing the first episode of her new podcast, Archetypes, prompting Morgan’s criticism.
In the premiere episode, the Duchess of Sussex spoke with Serena Williams about parenthood and aspiration.
Morgan criticized Markle for associating bad connotations with ambitious women due to her choice of words after hearing the conversation between the two women.
Meghan Markle said:
“I don’t ever remember personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word ambitious until I started dating my now-husband. And apparently, ambition is a terrible terrible thing, for women that is, according to some.”
Morgan responded to Markle’s statement by stating that the public does not dislike her ambition. Rather, it is the manner in which she has treated the royal family. He said:
“It’s the vile way you trash the Royal Family whilst simultaneously exploiting your royal status for millions of dollars as with this podcast.”
The British writer also referred to Markle as “Princess Pinocchio” for making supposedly false and erroneous claims.
However, other royal fans defended Markle and criticized Morgan.
According to one of them, nobody likes the host.
The royal fan stated:
“Go sit down and shut up why don’t you? Ambitious shouldn’t have a negative connotation. Unless you think it’s ok for them to be parasitic losers like the ones you stuck with.”
Another royal admirer stated that Morgan is still furious that a woman chose to never talk to him again.
Morgan disclosed some years ago that he and Markle shared a history. Before the Duchess of Sussex was introduced to Prince Harry, the two became friends.
Shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began dating, however, she reportedly severed relations with Morgan and stopped answering his calls. Morgan was not invited to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Since then, Morgan appears to have made it his mission to criticize everything Markle says or does. Regarding Markle’s spat with Kate Middleton and the royal family, he had something to say.
And Morgan also had terrible things to say about Markle’s relationship with her father, Thomas Markle Sr.
Markle never responded to Morgan’s comments, despite everything that he had said.
