Jennifer Lopez richer than Ben Affleck? Alex Rodriguez’s ex reportedly paying most bills because ‘Batman’ actor does not have ‘deep pockets’

Jennifer Lopez is apparently the dominant partner in her relationship with Ben Affleck, according to rumors.

In its Sept. 5 issue, National Enquirer stated that Lopez pays the majority of the household expenses, even while she and her husband are out. Thus, Affleck would not be able to protest if the star of Hustlers decided to splurge on her favorite items.

An unnamed insider said:

“Ben adores J.Lo, but she does have a taste for the finer things in life, and he has no interest in bankrolling her vanity and opulence. She’s having to fund most of the things they do because the guy doesn’t have deep pockets.”

According to the source, Lopez was the one who pushed on a second wedding in Georgia. Affleck was reportedly satisfied with their casual Las Vegas wedding, but his wife was not.

The source reportedly claimed that Lopez is pressuring Affleck to purchase a mansion in Beverly Hills, which will serve as their residence.

The tipster added:

“They’ll put down at least 20 percent on a $60 million property in L.A., which is no small change. Then there’s that constant private jet travel, fancy vacations in paradise, and huge security and living expenses. On paper, Ben’s worth around $150 million, but cash flow is a different matter. J.Lo, on the other hand, is worth around $400 million.”

Affleck allegedly listed his Pacific Palisades residence for sale in order to make Lopez happy. And the proceeds from the sale of the property will be utilized to purchase a new home in Beverly Hills.

The tattler said:

“J.Lo’s fully expecting the big bucks to roll in once they form their own production company. But this will require funding and as successful as their careers are right now, there’s way more going out than coming in.”

However, the tabloid’s allegations should be taken with a grain of salt. There is no evidence that Affleck and Lopez have been battling over their finances as of late.

Even though Lopez is wealthy more than her husband, she does not pay the majority of their monthly expenses.

It is more likely that the newlyweds will divide everything equally for the sake of their children.
