The Weeknd will be conspicuously absent from the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, but for a good reason.

Despite the concert show’s numerous reported hiccups and accidents, Abel has recorded massive sales through his “After Hours Till Dawn” 2022 Tour.

According to recent data, The Weeknd has already generated 8-digit sales in just a few shows, not even a quarter of the way through his highly anticipated world tour.

According to HiphopDX, The Weekend is on track to have one of the highest-grossing tours in the music industry in recent years, and he is far from finished.

Based on recent data, The Weeknd’s “After Hours Till Dawn” Tour 2022 has already amassed $30 million from the first four North American stadium shows.

According to tour data, a Worldwide Concert Grosses and Ticket Sales reporter, four of The Weeknd’s venues have already sold the multimillion figure, including Chicago’s Soldier Field, FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, and Chicago’s Soldier Field.

Over 190,000 tickets have already been sold, accounting for four of the 19 reported venues across the country.

According to the numbers, all four concerts are sold out. The MetLife Stadium has proven to be the highest grosser of the four, with nearly 55,000 attendees bringing in $9.8 million on its own.

Soldier Field in Chicago had nearly 49,000 attendees and $7.9 million in ticket sales. Gillette Stadium in Foxboro drew 48.9k concertgoers, resulting in $6.2 million in ticket sales, while FedEx Field in Landover made $5.9 million.

However, “After Hours Till Dawn” had a difficult time recently, as it was plagued by problems almost every other month.

Doja Cat is said to be opening for The Weeknd. However, after revealing online that she would undergo a major tonsillectomy, she dropped out and was eventually placed, which worried fans who had purchased tickets to see her.

Following that, Abel’s opening show in Toronto, Canada, was cancelled due to a nationwide power outage.

After his Las Vegas concert last week, one of his merchandise trucks caught fire.

Despite these obstacles, Abel is still upbeat about finishing strong on the “After Hours Till Dawn” 2022 Tour, which will most likely achieve a more outstanding feat once the data for the other tours are reported.
