Chris Rock pushed his audience away after making another insensitive joke.

Will Smith slapped Rock at the Oscars after the comedian joked about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair. Some sided with Smith because they thought the “G.I. Jane 2” joke was beneath the belt, while others said Rock did not deserve to be slapped because he was unaware of Jada’s condition.

Most people now believe Rock deserved it because of his recent “joke” about Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder.

According to Arizona Central, Rock joked about the Oscars incident during his stand-up show in Phoenix, Arizona, and was asked to return as Oscars host next year. However, he reportedly declined.

According to Rock, returning to the award ceremony would be like returning to the crime scene.

Unexpectedly, he joked about Nicole Brown Simpson’s murder, which enraged the public. The 57-year-old said the invitation was akin to inviting Brown back to the restaurant after he was murdered.

As a result of people condemning Rock’s words and actions, Smith gained more supporters.

One said:

“So Chris Rock is out there mocking a murdered mother of two. Sydney & Justin loved their Mum, but this bloke thinks it’s okay to joke about her this way. Another woman serving as foils for #ChrisRock’s “jokes”. Dear #WillSmith, all is forgiven.”

Even photojournalist Gregory Anderson suggested that Ron Goldman’s father, Fred Goldman, be given the honor of slapping Rock for the joke. Ron and Nicole died together decades ago.

Rock has yet to respond to the criticisms.

The incident referred to by Rock occurred decades ago.

Brown and her family visited a restaurant where Goldman worked as a waiter in 1994. After the family dinner, the staff went to her house to return her mother’s glasses.

On the other hand, Goldman died in the early morning hours after being stabbed to death along with Brown.

Simpson was in the area then but immediately booked a flight to Chicago. He refused to turn himself into the cops and continued to drive his Ford Bronco with his friend Al Cowlings.

Following the chase, Simpson was found guilty and sentenced but never served his time in prison for the crime.
