Taylor Swift took home three major awards at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, all for her music video “All Too Well.”

She was the big winner at the event on August 28.

Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)” won three awards, including Video of the Year, Best Long-Form Video, and Best Direction.

The 10-minute short film, released in 2021, was inspired by her 2010 romance with Jake Gyllenhaal.

The film stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.

The original song was released in 2012, but the 2021 version includes new lyrics that address their age difference.

Taylor Swift is also the first artist to win Video of the Year three times, having previously won in 2015 for “Bad Blood” and 2019 for “You Need to Calm Down.”

Taylor Swift now has 14 VMAs under her belt, making her the fourth most notable winner of all time, trailing only Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Madonna, and Lady Gaga.

But did Taylor Swift anticipate receiving significant honors, particularly the top prize?

According to a body language expert, Taylor Swift’s red carpet appearance and victory speech spoke volumes.

Swift established “power and authority” on the red carpet, he added (via Yahoo), and appeared to show no “real astonishment” during her win announcement.

He stated that the singer of “Lover” delivered her acceptance speech with “great confidence.”

The expert added:

“From her behavior, it’s evident she had no doubt she was going to be a winner on the night. Her body language was devoid of genuine shock.”

The choice of the 31-year-old singer-costume songwriter also demonstrated her inner confidence, as she wore a stunning gown that put her center stage. All eyes were on her bare Oscar de la Renta little dress, which was tied together by layers of jewel-encrusted chains over a nude bodice, according to InStyle.

Swift completed her ensemble with crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin heels, a silver metallic manicure and pedicure, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

The body language expert continued:

“Taylor did demonstrate gratitude for the support from her fans and we can tell that by the way she talked, stopping to ensure she spoke precisely what she wanted to say at that moment.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift announced at the VMAs that her latest album, “Midnights”, would be released in October.
