Demi Lovato has been in the music and entertainment industries since she sang songs in “Barney” with Selena Gomez.
Her career took off when she was 16 years old, thanks to “Camp Rock,” and she has since gone on to become one of Disney’s most celebrated stars.
Demi has already revealed that she had a rough patch when she first entered the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview, she described a situation in which she wanted to seek treatment but was discouraged by a member of her team.
Demi Lovato, according to Variety, suffered various forms of mental and physical abuse as a child and up until recently, before entering rehab.
She revealed in a recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast about a time in 2017 when she ignored a health scare because someone on her team told her not to get treatment.
Demi mentioned a time when she was already “throwing up blood” and needed medical attention. She was discouraged from doing so, however, because she was not “sick enough” for treatment.
According to the “Holy Fvck” hitmaker’s accounts, this was the person’s way of saying that if she went to get treatment, it would look bad for the person. She did not elaborate on who in her team told her that.
Fans were intrigued by the mystery person behind Demi Lovato’s bad advice.
Demi surprised her fans, even more, when she posted an Instagram story shortly after the episode aired.
Demi tagged his former life coach Mike Bayer in a screenshot of a Yahoo! News article about the time her team barricaded her hotel room to stop eating.
She took down the story minutes later and hasn’t explained it since.
It wasn’t the first time Bayer had a shady encounter with Lovato.
Demi subtweeted the New York Times Best Selling Author turned Life Coach in 2018. According to US Weekly, the two have not been on good terms since her rehab.
The two were said to have been “very, very close,” but in 2018, Radar Online reported that Lovato was no longer working with Bayer or CAST Centers, the coach’s company.
