Halsey may have been in and out of the hospital in recent months due to her various health issues, but another medical issue struck her, forcing her to perform at her festival performances in the United Kingdom while feeling ill; what happened to the singer?

The “Badlands” songwriter revealed to Page Six that she got food poisoning while touring for her “Love and Power” UK leg.

The “Devil In Me” singer revealed that she began experiencing symptoms last Friday, just before taking the stage at the Leeds festival.

The singer was aided by a rescue team as she lay down on the couch, according to her official Instagram account.

She wrote in the post:

“Well, @officialrandl didn’t exactly start how I pictured it lmao! Thanks for being so awesome Leeds. I’m going to rest all day and be ready for Reading tomorrow.”

Despite being food poisoned, she continued to perform her hit songs in front of thousands of fans at the renowned music festival.

She also updated fans on her Instagram stories, saying she had no idea how she was still “alive” after performing due to “terrible food poisoning.”

The symptoms began at 2 p.m., but she was still able to give her fans a high-energy performance.

She also thanked the medical personnel who assisted her for being “so helpful.”

Even though she has performed at shows while feeling “messed up,” the singer claims that her recent food poisoning experience was “the worst” because she felt like she was on Jupiter the entire time.

According to early reports, the “New Americana” singer had been “in and out” of the hospital for nearly the entire month of April.

The singer revealed on her Instagram stories that her health has changed dramatically since becoming pregnant and giving birth to her son Ender.

She became ill and was taken to the hospital several times for “anaphylaxis,” as well as other conditions.
