New shocking details about Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have emerged, revealing that their divorce has been in the works for quite some time.
Brady and Bundchen’s marriage problems have yet to be resolved. Instead of focusing on repairing their relationship, they appear to have recently begun preparing for the worst.
After allegedly hiring divorce lawyers, a news outlet received information from several sources claiming that the model had threatened to divorce him several times before the recent buzz.
According to sources, Bundchen has been openly discussing divorce in recent years, all for one reason: football.
Although the matriarch always attended Brady’s games, it was revealed that she wanted him to retire due to concerns that he would develop CTE. She has also been disappointed by how little time he spends with the family due to his NFL schedule.
CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, is caused by repeated head injuries. According to the Centers for Disease Control, these traumatic injuries can result in memory loss or even death. This is common in sports such as football and boxing.
In this regard, Boston University once conducted research and discovered that 110 of the brains of 111 deceased NFL players had the disease.
It’s not surprising that Bundchen wants her husband out of the game. She also believes that he had already served his time when he became the oldest NFL player.
Lawyers recently revealed to PEOPLE the things that would be affected by the divorce amid the divorce rumors.
Brady and Bundchen may fight over their rights and the division of their assets, according to divorce attorney Sue Moss, who is not involved in the couple’s case.
The lawyer stated:
“The big challenge for him is everything will be determined at the height of his income because to get him to come back, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had to come up with a lot of cash – and that is the baseline for determining the support in this case.”
She also stated that Bundchen was initially paid more than Brady. However, as the husband continued to win, his income eventually surpassed his wife’s.
Meanwhile, New York divorce lawyer Jacqueline Newman stated that a prenuptial agreement would be signed soon.
