Camila Cabello appears to be still looking for love after her split from Shawn Mendes, but she recently admitted to using online dating.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the “Senorita” singer revealed that she tried her luck with love through a dating app, but she didn’t last long.

She “left” the unnamed app after 24 hours, but there was one unforgettable encounter that made her question people’s intentions.

She said:

“The first guy that DMed me was, like, an aspiring singer-songwriter from Nashville. I was just like, ‘I feel weird because somebody could be using me.’ Does that make sense?”

Cabello said she “doesn’t even know” what she should do now, but she praises her friends for being “amazing” because they always vet guys she meets.

Camila Cabello previously spoke with “New Music Daily’s” Zane Lowe to promote her song “Bam Bam” and discuss her album “Familia.”

People speculated that her break-up inspired her Ed Sheeran collaboration song with Shawn Mendes.

The singer discussed her ex-boyfriend with the host, saying she loves him and has nothing but love for him.

She explained:

“This song is mostly just about like, ‘Okay, how do I make a song that shows the cycles of love, and life’… You know, whatever it is that’s going on in your life.”

Furthermore, the former Fifth Harmony member admitted that her priorities “fluctuated” over the years, including while dating the singer, because she always wanted to live and have a happy relationship.

Her focus shifted as she realized she was getting older, which was one of the reasons the two of them broke up, with them starting at such a young age also playing a role.

According to Glamour Magazine, the ex-couple first met while opening for Austin Mahone and Fifth Harmony.

When they collaborated on “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 2015, dating rumors began circulating, but they didn’t begin their PDA until 2019.

Last November, the couple announced their split on social media, stating that they had decided to split but that their love for each other as humans would continue.
