Cara Delevingne discusses feeling like a prude while filming “Planet Sex.”

The “Suicide Squad” actress is set to star in an “unfiltered” and “authentic” docuseries about her sexual experiences while also learning about human sexuality. Hulu and BBC Three will collaborate on the docuseries “Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne.”

In recent years, the 30-year-old model has been open about her sexuality, revealing that she identifies as ‘pansexual’ and has been dubbed one of Hollywood’s most visible queer actors.

However, while promoting her new docuseries, “Planet Sex,” the “Paper Towns” star opened up about her recent uncomfortable feelings at MIPCOM.

Delevingne said:

“I’m used to being a chameleon but this was absurd. I used to think of myself as hip, young and cool but felt like such a prude. But I ended up doing everything I felt comfortable doing.”

In each episode, the BBC and Hulu docuseries will explore Cara Delevinge’s perspective on human sexuality and how she discovers its ever-changing nature. The 30-year-old model described the “masturbation seminar” that surprised her.

Delevingne elaborated on the experience:

“I went into the masturbation seminar thinking it was going to be a classroom and I’d have a notepad, and instead it was a pink, leather gym mat on the floor, with six people going, ‘Well, take your underwear off. This is the lube.’ I think I’m a pretty hip, young, cool, down-with-anything kind of girl but I was like, ‘Sorry what? Sorry, no, absolutely not, I will not do that.'”

In one of the project’s earlier announcements, BBC elaborated on their vision for the docuseries and how Cara Develingne will fit into their theme.

“In this deeply personal, but also universally relevant series, Delevingne plans to put her mind and body on the line, opening herself up to experiments and demonstrations in the world’s leading sex research labs, visiting communities who experience gender and sexuality very differently, and voyaging into people’s hearts and homes to share their unique stories.”

“Planet Sex With Cara Delevingne” will premiere on Hulu on November 29, 2022.
