Olivia Wilde and her final months with Jason Sudeikis have recently made headlines after a former nanny revealed home secrets.
The anonymous lady stated that the actress-turned-director was proud to show off her engagement ring to the public just weeks before ditching the “Ted Lasso” actor for Harry Styles.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the former nanny mentioned Jason and Olivia’s Labor Day beach trip in September 2020, when the director was all smiling while wearing her diamond proposal ring on the beaches of Malibu. This allegedly happened just before she started dating Harry.
Olivia and Jason had been engaged for several years.
Olivia and Harry became close when the filming of her film “Don’t Worry Darling” began, according to sources.
The nanny continued:
“Olivia went on to defend herself and I think she did it for Harry because she wanted Harry to think things were finished for a long time, and they weren’t.”
According to the unnamed source, Olivia Wilde kept Jason Sudeikis on the hook by sleeping in the same bed, swimming naked in their pool, and even telling him she loved him until December 2020.
Olivia went public with Harry after a few weeks.
However, the nanny claimed that Harry was unaware of the situation.
She continued:
“One thing about Olivia is that she wants to pretend as if there are no difficulties. There is nothing there. When you bring anything up to her, she just does not know how to handle it. She blows them aside.”
“So I guess she didn’t want Harry to have anything to do with it.”
Meanwhile, in a September interview with Vanity Fair, Olivia Wilde slammed the notion that she abandoned Jason Sudeikis for Harry Styles.
She called the claims “absolutely true,” adding that they had split up “before the start of the epidemic.” However, as previously stated by the nanny, several images showed Olivia and Jason still together in September 2020.
In photos released by the Daily Mail on September 8, 2020, she was still wearing her engagement ring from Jason as she frolicked on the beach with Jason and their children.
On the other hand, the former couple dismissed the nanny’s allegations, calling them “false and scurrilous” in a statement provided to Page Six.
“It is extremely disheartening for us as parents to find that a former nanny to our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous charges against us publicly.”
