Last month, Post Malone shocked fans when he was involved in an onstage accident while performing at a concert in St. Louis. Recently, the rapper was involved in yet another tragedy in front of thousands of people; is he okay?
The musician was performing at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena as part of his ongoing “Twelve Carat Toothache” tour, according to Billboard.
Unfortunately, while singing “Psycho,” he twisted his ankle, as seen in viral videos that circulated on social media platforms.
A TikTok video shows the “Sunflower” hitmaker tripping, but he manages to keep himself from falling completely. Despite his best efforts to finish the song, the rapper limped and had to drop to his knees.
He said:
“Tell you what, there’s little holes in the middle of the stage where fire comes out, which is pretty f****** badass.”
The singer said the hole was the main reason he twisted his ankle.
As of this writing, there has been no word on whether Post Malone was taken to the hospital following his onstage accident.
Last September 17, the rapper collapsed during a concert at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. Although many fans initially thought it was nothing serious because he could continue his tour as planned, he was hospitalized a few days later.
According to STL Today, the musician was rushed to the hospital after experiencing difficulty breathing and stabbing pain, prompting him to apologize to fans for being unable to continue his show.
He said:
“I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before. I’m having a very difficult time breathing and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move.”
The rapper also expressed regret for canceling his show at Boston’s TD Garden, but he assured fans that his team is working on a rescheduled date and that he will “make this up” to fans who could not see him perform.
The venue also stated that the show had been “postponed due to unforeseeable circumstances” and that fans who purchased tickets could still use them on a rescheduled date.
