Khloe Kardashian has responded to advice urging her to leave Tristan Thompson.
Kardashian and Thompson have a 4-year-old daughter named True Thompson and a newborn son whose name has yet to be revealed. In 2021, Maralee Nichols announced that she had given birth to a child fathered by the former professional basketball player, effectively ending Khloe and Tristan’s relationship.
Despite their divorce, the couple is still committed to co-parenting, as they recently welcomed their second child via surrogate.
In a recent interview with “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the mother of two discussed her current relationship with Tristan Thompson, revealing that the process of moving on is still ongoing.
Khloe explained on “The Kelly Clarkson Show”:
“When I said I’m learning to un-love Tristan, I think people-whether it be family or friends, or anyone you’re telling your story to-they’re like ‘Okay, so move on’. I’m like ‘No’. It’s not that easy. So, it’s learning to reprogram myself. I know that this isn’t the right thing for me and I need to slowly heal and move on, but it doesn’t happen overnight.”
Khloe has stated that despite their split, she still loves Thompson, adding:
“Any little thing I would share my life with him.”
For the founder of “Good American,” the stress of their relationship history has been no laughing matter. The reality star was revealed to have developed “undeniable signs of brain trauma” due to emotional stress, possibly from her ex-paternity boyfriend’s scandal, in this season of their family reality series, “The Kardashians.”
Khloe admits in an episode of “The Kardashians” that she chose to focus on her motherhood journey rather than her ongoing process of learning to un-love Tristan Thompson.
She said during the premiere:
“Now that my son is here, I get to move on and I get to enjoy. It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.”
