This year, BTS will attempt to win its first Grammy award.

The Recording Academy released the list of nominees for the 65th Grammy Awards on Tuesday. BTS dominated several nominations for its successful music career this year.

BTS was nominated in multiple Grammy categories for the first time this year. Previously, it set a record by becoming the first K-pop group to present an award and perform at the Grammys (both in 2019).

The following year, the group received its first nomination.

BTS, on the other hand, has yet to win a Grammy.

Despite this, RM previously stated to fans that the members were grateful regardless of the award.

He said during an interview with USA Today:

“There are so many blessings we could’ve gotten for these eight years, but I guess for the whole journey the best luck we ever had is that we all have you guys all over the world. Whether we get the Grammys or not, we already got what we wanted, and we got you, so that means we got everything.”
