Kanye West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian is in limbo, and there’s a good chance he’ll lose custody of their four children.

According to The Sun, the “Donda” hitmaker canceled a deposition scheduled in the lawsuit just weeks after cooperating and handing over his finances.

Kanye, who has changed his name to Ye, was scheduled to be questioned by Kim’s attorneys on November 16, but he did not appear.

The following night, he was seen having fun with conservative right-winger Milo Yiannopoulos. The Grammy-winning rapper was photographed drinking champagne as he left his temporary opulent residence at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills.

Despite ignoring the deposition, Kanye has one more chance before he regrets avoiding the law.

According to court documents, he has one last chance to be questioned by his ex-legal wife’s team on November 29, to which Ye’s attorneys have also agreed.

If the 45-year-old “All Of The Lights” rapper does not appear again, it could have serious consequences for custody of their children, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Family law expert Lexie Rigden explained to the outlet:

“If Kanye fails to show up to his deposition, the Judge might discipline him monetarily, make him pay counsel costs, and if it is a significant enough discovery breach, the judge may be able to prevent him from putting on a case at trial.”

Because of the rapper’s actions and unreasonableness, “anything may be in question, from custody to asset allocation,” according to the unrelated lawyer.

Although the two are already extremely wealthy, the custody of their four children will be the most important issue.

It was previously reported that the SKIMS mogul is willing to grant her ex-husband 50/50 custody, which he posted online, implying that Kim has 80% of the time.

According to TMZ, Kanye and Kim’s divorce trial is scheduled for December 14. The former power couple may still reach an agreement before the trial.

The “Famous” rapper appeared to be on the same page when he turned over his finances earlier this month, indicating they were close to settling their never-ending divorce. That plan, however, was thwarted when Kanye failed to appear for the deposition.
