Conan Gray is one of the year’s most promising artists.

Gray, best known for his hits “Heather,” “Wish You Were Sober,” and “Maniac,” has recently made his mark in the music industry.

Others may know him as Olivia Rodrigo’s best friend and a YouTube vlogger.

Conan Lee Gray, who was born in Lemon Grove on December 5, 1998, was a California native. Conan Gray has reached the age of 24.

Surprisingly, Conan is of Irish descent and has a Japanese mother. His family relocated to Hiroshima, Japan, when he was a child because his grandfather required medical treatment. They did not stay in Japan for long, however, and returned to California after two years.

Conan Gray used to be able to speak Japanese fluently, but as he grew older, he lost his ability to do so.

Conan Gray began vlogging at the age of fifteen in 2013. He primarily posted videos about his love of baking and his daily life. He has also given talks about his daily life in Texas and expressed a fondness for Americana nostalgia.

He then used his YouTube channel to expose people to his music. In 2017, he released his debut single, “Idle Town”, on the platform, followed by his debut extended play “Sunset Season.”

The album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Charts and No. 116 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Conan Gray’s net worth is estimated to be around $4 million, according to BioOverview.

The success of his two albums, “Kid Krow” and “Superache,” is credited with this.

“Kid Krow” charted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Meanwhile, “Superache” debuted at No. 9 on the same prestigious charts, selling 43,000 album equivalent units upon its release.

With his recent breakthrough, Conan Gray is expected to be nominated for Best New Artist at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Conan Gray, like GAYLE and Dove Cameron, was passed over.

The only nominees for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist were Anitta, Omar Apollo, Domi & JD Beck, Latto, Samara Joy, Maneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle, and Muni Long.
