Miley Cyrus is back to make her fans’ New Year’s Eve extra special by hosting a party that will be broadcast on television; who will perform at the event?

The pop star recently appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to discuss her upcoming holiday event.

During the interview, the former Disney star finally revealed some performers who will be performing at the show, including Latto, Sia, and Rae Sremmurd.

Cyrus explained why she chose the above performers, saying Sia is one of her favorite artists and Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee are friends of hers.

Fans can expect more announcements in the weeks leading up to New Year’s Eve, as the pop star has stated that there will be more performers in the lineup.

In terms of how she chose the performers for the evening, the “Malibu” hitmaker said:

“It is curated in a way that makes no sense, but makes total sense.”

According to early reports, the pop star will be joined by her godmother Dolly Parton to host the show.

The show will be available for live streaming on NBC and Peacock on December 31 for fans who want to join the pop star welcome 2023. The show will begin at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The show’s executive producers include Lorne Michaels and Cyrus herself, as well as Evan Prager and Jesse Ignjatovic for Den of Thieves.

The “Midnight Sky” singer’s mother Tish Cyrus’ Hopetown Entertainment will also produce the show.

In a statement about the upcoming event, NBCUniversal Executive Vice President Jen Neal stated that last year’s show with Pete Davidson was a success and that they can’t wait for this year’s party.

Cyrus featured the “Saturday Night Live” comedian last year, and it was a success because they have been collaborating for years, allowing them to have a natural connection while hosting.
