The likelihood of a No Doubt reunion in 2023 is very high!
Gwen Stefani, the vocalist of the famous 1990s rock band, has just hinted that a No Doubt reunion is a real possibility, given that things she didn’t think would happen are now happening.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, “The Voice” coach addressed one of the music industry’s most pressing concerns. The publication asked:
“What are the odds of a No Doubt reunion?”
Stefani, who is still high from her interaction with one of her childhood idols on “The Drew Barrymore” show, gave No Doubt fans hope.
She revealed:
“What are the odds of anything? I was just on The Drew Barrymore Show. She was one of my favorite celebrities when I was a little girl, and now I was just on the show with her. Anything can happen.”
No Doubt was one of the most popular bands in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band rose to prominence with their fusion of ska, pop rock, ska punk, alternative rock, and new wave sounds, led by Gwen Stefani.
The band went on hiatus in 2004 as Stefani pursued a solo career.
She furthered:
“I have no idea what’s going to happen with No Doubt. We haven’t really talked about doing anything, but it feels like everyone is, right? All the ’90s people-Blink-182 did an eight-month tour that sold out in like five minutes.”
As bands, No Doubt and Blink-182 were inseparable. In 2004, the two rock bands embarked on a summer tour as co-headliners.
Blink-182 reunited earlier this year with the return of estranged member Tom DeLonge. The band will embark on a world tour in 2023 and has released a new single from their upcoming album, which will also be released next year.
While a No Doubt reunion would be exciting and nostalgic for 90s babies who grew up with Blink-182 and No Doubt, it might be too much for a pregnant Gwen Stefani.
According to a Life & Style Magazine article, a source confirmed that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are expecting after a successful IVF procedure. The couple had tried the artificial method after being unable to conceive naturally.
If the rumors and sources are correct, a pregnant Gwen Stefani may not be able to participate in a No Doubt reunion tour or other projects.
