Most people cannot avoid swearing and cursing in text messages, depending on the intensity of the emotions they want to convey to the other person on the line.

However, when the expletives appear to be more harmful than helpful and exceed the bounds of communication, the line becomes murky.

According to an exclusive Rolling Stone report, Cuban singer Malu Trevejo is the target of a scathing lawsuit in which she is accused of inflicting physical, mental, verbal, and emotional abuse on her assistants and other staff members, among other things.

Trevejo sent the following message to one of her staff members, which was shown to the publication:

“DUDE YOU MUST be the dumbest motherf—ker I’ve ever seen in my fu—-ing life. What the F–KKKKKKK LIKE U LITERALLY RETARDED.”

Receiving messages like that on a daily basis was almost normal, according to Lacroix, one of the employees suing Trevejo. In a civil lawsuit, he and four other staff members will sue her for battery, defamation, and sexual misconduct.

The 23-year-old singer turned internet celebrity has been dubbed a “nightmare boss” or a “young, entitled celebrity.”

Aside from her sharp expletives, Trevejo’s behavior toward her staff includes frequent late-night phone calls, during which she became enraged, prompting her to call her assistants “stupid,” “dumb,” and “retarded,” as well as use homophobic and racial slurs.

Trevejo even chastised her assistant for sending a private chef to prepare lunch at her home at around 9:00 a.m. This was given to the assistant who facilitated the arrival of the private chef:

Trevejo said:

“U dumb ass sh–t. He [is] not stopping. I won’t be paying for food now. I’m going back to sleep. If he does it … I will throw the pasta [through] the fucking car u drive. Through the f—-ing window,”

Trevejo was even accused of attempting to stab his co-manager after a heated argument last April 2022, according to the lengthy suit. Her own security detail was also mentioned in the filing, claiming that he was frequently placed in “dangerous situations” due to Trevejo’s verbal and physical altercations, requiring him to put his life in the middle. In the filing, one of her lesbian associates even stated that she has received unwanted sexual advances from the teen star.
