Before releasing her most recent single, “Flowers,” Miley Cyrus allegedly attempted to contact her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

Many fans believe the song was a dig at the “Hunger Games” star, based on all the hints.

The former Disney Channel star sings about how she didn’t want to go at first but soon realized she could buy her own flowers rather than rely on someone else to do it.

According to sources, Miley attempted to talk to Liam several times but was ignored and rejected each time.

The source who spoke to Radar Online said:

“Miley wants to conduct some emotional healing and had thought she and Liam might find a way to be friends.”

But Liam doesn’t even pick up the phone when she calls, and he’s made it clear to her through others that he doesn’t want to speak to her.

According to the source, the ex-“Hannah Montana” star bought the $8 million Malibu home where Liam used to hang out.

“I believe that now, bumping into Miley at the grocery store is Liam’s greatest nightmare.”

Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce from Miley Cyrus in 2019, after more than ten years of dating and less than a year of marriage.

In January 2020, their divorce was finalized.

They signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married that discussed the specifics of a divorce, and Liam claimed in his petition that they have “irreconcilable differences.”

According to sources, the Australian beauty was “over the marriage” and didn’t want to interact with Miley at the time. A few days later, the pop star was photographed having sex with her then-girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter.

Liam, on the other hand, has been dating model Gabriella Brooks since the beginning of this year.

“Flowers” was released on January 12, Liam Hemsworth’s birthday in the United States, but it was already January 13 in Australia. This is the first apparent Easter egg.

In the second easter egg, Miley sang about building a house and then watching it burn in reference to their shared Malibu home, which was destroyed in a 2018 wildfire.

The chorus of the song appeared to clearly reference Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man,” a ballad about the one who left.

There was a rumor that Liam had once dedicated the song to her, but it is still just a rumor as of this writing.
