Victoria Beckham is facing backlash from her Instagram followers after posting a video of her beauty routine on Saturday.
The 48-year-old former Spice Girl explained why she wasn’t wearing makeup at the start of the video before showcasing her cosmetics collection.
Several of her 30.5 million Instagram followers, however, expressed their displeasure with her face appearing to be natural in the comments section.
Posh claimed she was in Paris and had just gotten out of the shower as she recorded herself before using any cosmetic products.
The mom-of-four said:
“I’ve got no makeup on, just my power serum on and my cell rejuvenating moisturizer, so my skin is prepped.”
Meanwhile, many of her supporters did not believe she was “makeup free.”
One commenter said in reference to her video:
“She’s my ultimate hero and has been since SG’s but yeah no makeup but 27 filters.”
Another follower chimed in:
“The filters are doing their job!!!! I think your gorgeous and incredibly trendy but I hope you would be more honest and transparent young ladies need not compare to filters.”
In the Instagram video, Victoria Beckham also ditched her more natural appearance in favor of bright blue makeup.
The former singer-turned-fashion consultant is in Paris with her husband David Beckham and their son Cruz Beckham for Fashion Week.
On Saturday, while watching their son Romeo’s game in Burton, the soccer star was seen being a gentleman to his wife by handing her his coat.
Posh was already dressed in a blue coat and scarf when David was seen removing his jacket and wrapping it around her.
Victoria was also wearing a pair of skinny jeans and sunglasses, as well as her hair pulled back into a ponytail.
Romeo Beckham made his Brentford B debut earlier this month as a substitute against Erith and Belvedere in the London Senior Cup.
Despite previously declining to join the other Spice Girls in a reunion, Victoria Beckham is still successful.
Posh reportedly earned $2.4 million in three years despite not singing a single song, according to The Mirror.
Her company, Moody Productions, earned $499,000 in 2020 and $870,000 in 2021, according to The Mirror.
Despite not joining Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner on their reunion tour, she earned $1.2 million in 2019.
The fashion designer is still a Spice Girl, but she is not singing because Moody Productions receives a cut of the proceeds from gig-related sponsorships, licensing agreements, and merchandise sales.
