Even though Takeoff tragically died on that one in early November, his Migos co-stars Offset and Quavo are still feuding.

According to TMZ, the two rappers got into a fight backstage at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday, when tensions were high.

According to attendees, Quavo and Offset got into a physical altercation shortly before Quavo was scheduled to perform his song “Without You” as a tribute to Takeoff during the “In Memoriam” segment of the program. Even forcible separation was required of them.

According to reports, Offset was asked to participate in the homage by the Recording Academy, but Quavo refused, resulting in the altercation. Offset allegedly got into a fight with Quavo while attempting to join him on stage.

According to sources, Quavo started the fight.

During Takeoff’s murder, Quavo and Takeoff were seen to be very close, while Offset was already leaving the group.

Quavo allegedly wrote “Without You” for Takeoff.

Quavo performed in the shadows, with lighting shining on an empty seat and a microphone stand from which one of Takeoff’s chains hung. Maverick City Music, an Atlanta-based Christian band, also performed with him.

He sang:

“Things ain’t the same without you. I don’t know if I’m the same without you.”

The most moving moment came near the end, when Quavo approached the microphone at the front of the stage, holding a photo of the late rapper Takeoff and his chain.

Many people who watched the 2023 Grammy Awards were disappointed to see that Quavo and Offset are still at odds with one another, despite Takeoff’s untimely death.

Takeoff, real name Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on November 1, 2022. He was 28 years old.

Quavo was reportedly only a bystander when a fight broke out and bullets were fired during a dice game involving him and other males.
