Stairway to Heaven actress Choi Ji Woo will reportedly join the cast of the upcoming drama Shooting Star.
In response to the reports, both tvN and Choi Ji Woo’s agency YG Entertainment clarified that Choi Ji Woo is still reviewing the offer and nothing has been confirmed yet.

Previously, it was reported that Lee Sung Kyung will be making her K-Drama debut with Shooting Star. Lee Sung Kyung will be working with “The Penthouse” rising star Kim Young Dae as well as actor Yong Joon Hoon.
The K-Drama Shooting Star will revolve around the behind-the-scene happenings in the entertainment industry. Shooting Star will showcase a variety of professional groups that works hand-in-hand so that stars or celebrities can shine.

Taking the lead role of Oh Han Byul is Lee Sung Kyung. She is the head of the public relations team of Star Force Entertainment. Lee Sung Kyung’s Oh Han Byul crosses the path with top celebrity Gong Tae Sung, who is played by Kim Young Dae, and develops a love-hate relationship with him.
Shooting Star will be directed by The Witch’s Diner director Lee Soo Hyun and is written by rookie writer Choi Young Woo.

The K-Drama Shooting Star will be produced by Studio Dragon and Mace Entertainment.
Joining the cast of Shooting Star are CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin, Girls Day’s Park So Jin, N.Flying Lee Seung Hyub, and many others.
Should Choi Ji Woo accept the offer, she will take on the role of a top 90’s actress named Eun Si Woo.

Shooting Star is scheduled to air this coming June. The drama will be available on both tvN and iQIYI.
