Daniel Mac, a Tiktoker known for questioning people with expensive cars, saw Beckham outside and stopped beside the “chef’s” car to ask him what he does for a living to afford such an expensive car.
Beckham responded to the question, “I’m a chef,” completely unaware that he would be chastised.
As the conversation progressed, Mac was asked if he is truly the best chef in the world in order to justify purchasing a car1, to which he replied, “Trying to be.”
People mocked the “chef” after Beckham and Mac’s conversation went viral.
People say he didn’t get the car just because he’s a chef, pointing out that Beckham has famous parents and a billionaire wife.
Some fans praised him for attempting to stand on his own, but they also felt the same way about buying a car from a beginner’s chef’s pocket.
As someone who enjoys changing careers whenever he pleases, he advised people who want to get into cooking when asked by a Tiktoker, saying that a person should follow his passion and just keep doing it.
