On August 20, Bebe Rexha made her KCON debut, performing her 2021 single “Break My Heart Myself” alongside ITZY members Yeji and Ryujin. Not only did the performance surprise Itzy’s fans, but it also surprised Bebe Rexha’s fans worldwide, and in a good way.

The incredible collaboration took place at the opening concert of America’s largest K-pop festival, which is being held this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena.

Rexha, dressed entirely in black, took the stage during ITZY’s performance and performed the ultra-personal song with Yeji and Ryujin to a standing ovation from the entire audience. “I adore you, ITZY!” Rexha exclaimed to the audience as she embraced her co-performers.

ITZY’s Yeji and Ryujin performed a captivating dance performance to “Break My Heart Myself,” the opening track from Rexha’s 2021 album, “Better Mistakes”, in early June. It discusses her mental health management and bipolar disease struggles.

In late July, a remix of the song featuring a new verse from Yeji and Ryujin was released, catching Rexha’s attention.

Following the KCON 2022 concert on Saturday, both ITZY and Rexha shared backstage photos from the event. The whole thing was surreal and amazing to both of them. It was a fantastic experience, according to both camps.

ITZY tweeted:

“Great honor to perform ‘Break My Heart Myself’ together with super lovely Bebe in KCON!”

Rexha also celebrated the team-up:

“It was an unforgettable moment.”

“Before the show with my girls,” says a photo of herself and the ITZY girls backstage on Twitter.

The three-day event, which began on August 19, brings all aspects of K-culture together with full days of discussions, workshops, activities, and more, with the performance capping off the final two evenings. This year also marks the festival’s tenth anniversary.

P1Harmony, WJSN, NCT DREAM, THE BOYS, LOONA, TO1, STAYC, and NMIXX will perform at KCON 2022 on Sunday.

Bebe Rexha and David Guetta have released a song that they remixed years ago. “Blue Remix (I’m Good)” has taken TikTok by storm, and the song will be released soon as a result of the platform’s users’ power.

Hundreds of thousands of videos featuring the song, a remix of Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee),” have gone viral.

Bebe Rexha announced the song’s release date as Friday, August 26. Rexha addressed the song for the first time in a video of herself lip-syncing to it on August 5.

In the video, which has received over 15 million views and counting, she stated:

“@davidguetta and i remixed this song years ago and we never released it. I have no idea how it made it to tik tok but i love it! Cheers! Xoxoxo.”
