A recent New York Post article made its way onto Iggy Azalea’s timeline, prompting the female rapper to finally address the age-old question of her alleged beef with MTV Video Vanguard Royalty Nicki Minaj.

Back in 2010, the two rappers had a long-running indirect drama in which many people believed they despised each other’s guts.

With Azalea’s recent tweet, the current state of their feud appeared to have been resolved.

Iggy Azalea’s alleged feud with Nicki Minaj was mentioned in a New York Post report detailing a history of Nicki Minaj’s famous feuds before the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday.

According to the article, Iggy tweeted something against Nicki Minaj in 2010 but did not resurface until 2013. Following that, it mentioned Nicki’s BET speech, which many had thought was a dig at Azalea, who was rumored to have ghostwriters.

Nicki said then:

“When you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. I hope and pray that BET continues to honor authenticity.”

As the New York Post published the article on Twitter, Iggy caught wind of it and responded in a way that solidified her current relationship with the rap royalty.

With the response, it appears that the two’s “beef” was not true.

Although no camp can confirm whether the previous shots were directed at each other, the “Fancy” rapper’s statements already speak volumes.

This was not Iggy’s first public display of affection for Nicki.

Iggy Azalea shared her thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” as soon as it was released online, which Nicki graciously thanked her.

However, not everyone agreed with Iggy’s praise for Nicki, claiming that it was her efforts that secured a collaboration with Mrs. Petty. She, on the other hand, returned the detractor’s clap.

Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj denied rumors of a collaboration with anyone (including Iggy Azalea). This was when Coi Leroy’s father, Benzino, gave everyone a heads-up with “Blick Blick,” which was not supposed to be publicized yet.

Eventually, Nicki’s appearance on Coi Leray’s song took place, but fans remain hopeful that an Iggy and Nicki collaboration is on the way.
