Many celebrities, dead or alive, have had their biopics made about them recently, including Elton John in “Rocketman,” Whitney Houston in “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” and Madonna in an untitled film. Kanye West recently revealed his preference for the actor who would play him in a film.

The “Donda” rapper posted a black and white photo to his official Instagram account with the caption “Who should play me in a Ye movie?”

Many fans immediately flooded the comment section with their ideas for which celebrity should play the rapper in a film. Denzel Washington, Michael B. Jordan, and others are the crowd’s favorites.

Despite receiving responses from his followers, it appears West is already looking for an actor, as he responded to Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.

He called the 54-year-old actress “one of the greatest geniuses.”

Concerning Foxx’s film credentials, the outlet reported that he was first nominated for an Academy Award in 2005 for his role in “Collateral.”

Although he did not win the coveted award that evening, he was named best actor that year for his performance as Ray Charles in the film “Ray.”

In addition to his Oscar, he received Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe nominations for the same role.

The actor has yet to respond to West’s recent post as of this writing.

The “Donda” rapper’s latest post comes just days after West addressed the backlash he received after wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt during his recent Yeezy fashion show in Paris, France.

Ye took to social media to defend his actions during fashion week, claiming that “Black Lives Matter was a scam.”

He didn’t stop there, as he later added:

“Here’s my latest response when people ask me why I made a tee that says white lives matter… THEY DO.”

Many fans and celebrities were outraged by his shirt, and even Jaden Smith left the event and later discussed it on Twitter, claiming he needed to “dip.”
