Dakota Johnson, Chris Martin sue woman who alleges singer is already married to her

Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin launched a major campaign to stop the “delusional woman” from spreading false information about them.

After dating for nearly five years, Johnson and Martin have sparked a marriage rumor. While their fans hope to hear wedding bells soon, the couple was informed by a woman that Martin is already married and living with her.

According to the Daily Mail, Johnson and Martin obtained a restraining order against a woman who claims to be married to the Coldplay frontman. The same woman allegedly “tried to enter his LA home several times under the delusion that she lives there.”

According to the legal documents obtained by Radar Online, Johnson and Martin were concerned for their safety due to the woman’s harassment.

The document revealed, per The Blast:

“He is horrified and fearful that (the woman) is under the delusion that she and Mr. Martin are married and that she lives at his residence. Mr. Martin has never had any type of relationship (personal or professional) with her; he has never met nor spoken with her.”

According to the filing, the harassment began this year but has increased in “number and severity” in recent months. The stalker went so far as to accuse the “50 Shades of Grey” actress of using black magic against her.

Martin’s home security camera captured the same woman ringing his doorbell.

With that, the singer requested protection for himself, Johnson, and his two children from his marriage to Gwyneth Paltrow.

Following the filing, the judge issued an order requiring the woman to stay 100 yards away from Martin and his family. According to the restraining order, the stalker is also asked to stay away from the singer’s home and Johnson’s vehicle.

Martin and Johnson sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together in Los Angeles in October 2017. A month later, she went to see Coldplay in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Following that, the couple went on a few more dates and became more open to their families. Dakota’s parents also spoke highly of their daughter’s love life, saying they respect her decision to keep her personal life private.

In a September 2018 interview with Tatler, she acknowledged their relationship. She said she wouldn’t talk about it then but assured her fans that she was very happy.
