If you’ve been following us here at Music Times, you’ll know that we’ve been keeping a close eye on Mariah Carey’s seasonal return. Every year, after Halloween, the icon known as the Queen of Christmas emerges to begin spreading her Christmas songs worldwide.
Fans all over the world are counting down the days until she returns. People joked on Twitter yesterday that Mariah Carey was defrosting and would be out soon to serenade the world with Christmas cheer.
Before the Christmas season officially began, the music sensation herself got people ready for her return. She stated that she would hold two Christmas for All concerts. One concert would occur in New York, while the other would occur in Toronto. Carey planned to make this year’s Christmas reign international before Halloween started.
Finally, the time has come.
Mariah Carey took to Twitter at midnight on November 1st. “IT’S TIME #MariahSZN,” she wrote, alongside a video commemorating the season. Carey is riding his bike to haunting music in black and white. It then transitions to a colorful image of the star riding a reindeer. “It’s time!” she exclaims as her iconic song begins to play.
