Harry Styles is on a roll right now. After starring in Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling,” he is now set to star in “My Policeman,” which will be released on November 4.

According to reports, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer will play a married police officer, Tom Burgess, who has a secret relationship with a museum curator, Patrick Hazelwood, played by David Dawson.

The film is based on Bethan Robers’ novel of the same name and is set between the 1950s and 1990s. Linus Roache will play the older Tom Burgess, while Styles will play the younger version.

The former One Direction member appears to have connected with his character, as he had deep thoughts about the role and film.

He said during the premiere:

“I had such a wonderful experience, making it and being a part of it. It’s something I’m really proud to be a part of.”

“And working with David, and Emma [Corrin], and Michael, and everyone throughout the process was… It was a really, really special thing for me.”

Although Styles has been relatively quiet about the upcoming film, he recently shared his thoughts on it for the first time.

He reflected:

“I think the story’s about wasted time, and that it’s never too late to follow your heart and do what you want.”

He added:

“I hope that people take that away from it. It’s never too late to follow your happiness and be brave in love.”

According to reports, the 2012 book is described as a:

“visually transporting, heart-stopping portrait of three people caught up in the shifting tides of history, liberty, and forgiveness.”

The “As It Was” singer has recently taken on more film roles. His second leading role will be in “My Policeman.”

His first film appearance was in the 2017 film “Dunkirk.” Although it was a minor role, Styles’ delivery impressed film veterans.

Christopher Nolan, the film’s director, praised his performance:

“The truth is, I cast Harry because he fit the part wonderfully and truly earned a seat at the table.”

Many people are now wondering if the 28-year-old singer plans to switch careers and pursue an acting career entirely.

Styles has yet to confirm or deny anything as of this writing. He is currently on the “Love On Tour,” which will conclude in July 2023 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Aside from touring, Styles recently released “Harry’s House,” his third studio album, which was met with critical and commercial success.

After auditioning for “The X Factor” in 2010, Styles rose to prominence. After One Direction announced its indefinite hiatus in 2016, he began working on solo projects, which have been well-received by peers and fans alike.
