Rihanna’s return has been one of the most talked-about topics in recent months.

Riri announced her return last September for the upcoming 2023 Apple Music NFL Halftime Show, effectively waking up all of her dormant social media fans.

Rihanna spoke with Entertainment Tonight during the controversial fourth volume premiere of the “Savage X Fenty Show” about her return to music.

Rihanna received backlash on social media after highlighting movie actor Johnny Depp at the “Savage X Fenty Show,” angering fans who had shown support despite the controversial ruling with Amber Heard.

However, Rihanna spoke more about her experience as a new mother in the interview. After a beautiful pregnancy with rapper A$AP Rocky, Rihanna gave birth earlier this year.

She gushed:

“Oh my god, the mornings, like, seeing his morning face! Seeing a baby with, like, little bags and waking up and they’re just, like, startled. They’re trying to figure out where they’re at. It’s the cutest, it’s my favorite part of the day.”

Her beautiful baby boy not only inspired her mother to wake up every morning but also served as the creative inspiration for her successful fashion line.

She furthered:

“You know, I always thought doing kid stuff would be cliche and the obvious thing to do when you have a baby. It’s, like, the obvious next step. But when I went shopping, that’s when I realized like, OK, maybe I need to start making the stuff that I want my kids to wear because it’s hard! I got my own ideas.”

But it wasn’t motherhood that got her out of the house; it was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up:

“The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, it’s an entertainer’s dream to be on a stage like that. But it’s nerve-racking. You want to get it right. You know, everybody’s watching. And they’re rooting for you. And I want to get it right.”

Rihanna couldn’t believe she’d even said ‘yes’ to the opportunity.

She went on:

“I can’t believe I even said yes. It was one of those things that even when I announced it, I was like, ‘OK, I can’t take it back. Now, it’s like final.'”

Rihanna will perform at the 2023 Apple Music NFL Halftime Show on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
