With his historic 2022 FIFA World Cup performance, BTS’ Jungkook melted fans’ hearts.

After agreeing to focus on their endeavors for the time being after performing together for years, BTS’s youngest member, Jungkook, took a giant step and dominated the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a new soundtrack.

Jungkook debuted his new solo single during the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Sunday. He performed the RedOne-produced song “Dreamers” alongside Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

Following their collaboration, the local singer tweeted photos of their performance with the caption:

“I can’t express my gratitude and happiness for my participation in the biggest event of all times, the World Cup, in my country #Qatar with the talented Jung kook , thank you for everything.”

Fans, on the other hand, helped to make several hashtags popular by including them in their tweets. To name a few, #WorldCup, #JungkookxFIFA, #JungkookAtFIFAWorldCup, #BTSJungkook, and #BTS are among them.

ARMYs were also grateful that the other six members of BTS – RM, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, and V – supported him by watching his performance livestream.

Seeing Jungkook’s name as people praised him proved that he delivered an outstanding performance.

Following his performance, he revealed on Weverse that he had a problem with his inner ear, making it impossible for him to hear himself sing.

Viewers, however, showered him with compliments as he flawlessly delivered the song.

On Tuesday, Jungkook’s “Dreamers” music video will be released on FIFA’s official YouTube channel. It was one of the official songs for the World Cup in Qatar 2022, along with “Tukoh Taka” by Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and Myriam Fares and “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” by Davido, Trinidad Cardona, and Aisha.

Jungkook’s new solo single “Dreamers” followed the release of “Stay Alive” and his collaboration with Charlie Puth in “Left & Right.”

In addition to Jungkook, BTS released an updated version of its hit song “Yet To Come” to promote the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
