Britney Spears has done it again. After receiving backlash for her NSFW posts, the pop star posted another nude photo on social media over the weekend.
Spears took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a photo of herself naked in a bathtub. She covered her breasts with her hands and censored her lady parts with a pink flower emoji in the photo.
The “Toxic” singer wrote in the caption:
“I like to suck!!! Never professional pics … sucking comes easy for me !!! Keep clapping bitch!!!”
Social media users had mixed reactions to the post. Some defended the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer, while others chastised her for her NSFW posts since being released from her 13-year conservatorship in November last year.
One person commented:
“Unfollow. You’re so far gone and so wrapped up in the drama and the weirdness and not healing. You need to heal…therapy…a new husband.”
Another wrote:
“Judges don’t just order conservatorships for no reason. It was to protect her. Now she is surrounded by ‘yes men.’ That is why this behavior is happening. I pray she makes it. My heart hurts for her and her children.”
However, a fan argued:
“If I was told what to do for 13 years and I’m grown, 40, and newly free, I would express and talk about my sexuality too! Y’all act like men haven’t been in control of how she expressed her body her whole entire life. Some of y’all post thirst traps for way fewer likes.”
Lia Camargo also showed her support for Spears by sending her love to the “Baby One More Time” singer.
She wrote:
“We are sending tons of LOVE for you and hoping this reaches your heart and soul. Everyone here is willing to see you, not as a celebrity or a raw ‘free’ person, but as someone that is clearly been taken care of by trustful friends because that’s what you deserve. Millions of people LOVE you and wish you love, care and peace.”
Spears’ most recent post comes after her ex-husband Kevin Federline claimed that their two sons, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, have chosen “not to see her” because of her NSFW posts and have begged her to stop.
Federline, 44, told The Daily Mail earlier this year:
“I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them. It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”
Following Federline’s interview, Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, defended her.
The fitness instructor said at the time:
“My wife has never posted a nude selfie except [for] her butt [which] is quite modest these days. All other posts were implied nudity [which] can be seen in any ad for lotion or soap.”
Spears also retaliated against Federline and their sons in October, when she deleted her Instagram account.
She captioned the post:
“I have a premiere for a movie this week, ‘THE LEGISLATIVE ACT OF MY P—Y’!!!!”
