Prince William has only recently made his TikTok debut.

On Tuesday, the Prince of Wales posted his first TikTok video. He made an appearance on the Earthshot Prize’s new TikTok account ahead of the awards ceremony on Friday in Boston.

“The Earthshot Prize is going to,” Prince William said, smiling as he placed a front-facing camera on the ground and moved as if to step on it. “Boston, this Friday, 2nd of December”, — a text flashed across the screen as the video flashed through photos of the 15 finalists nominated for the game-changing environmental awards in five categories: Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Oceans, Build A Waste-Free World, and Fix Our Climate.

Several online users on the platform expressed their delight at seeing the heir to the throne. Many people greeted him on the social media platform as well.

Nervous American commented:

“This gives me so much hope! Thank you, Prince William.”

Another person wrote:

“William just like his mother still making his mother proud.”

A fan added:

“William the king of tiktok transitions.”

Another royal supporter wrote:

“Super excited for this!”

A different user opined:

“Woo hoo!!!! Keep up the great work!”

In July, Prince William announced that he would be bringing the Earthshot Prize to the United States. The heir to the throne announced in a video on Twitter that he and his wife, Kate Middleton, would be in Boston, Massachusetts, for the second Earthshot Prize awards ceremony.

He said in the clip:

“In 2022, we’re back and bringing Earthshot to the USA where we’ll award the next five winners of the Prize.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales are scheduled to arrive in Boston on Wednesday. According to People, this will be their first trip to America in eight years.

Their itinerary will begin with a reception at Boston City Hall, where they will meet Mayor Michelle Wu, and Ambassador Caroline Kennedy will help kick off the countdown to the star-studded event at MGM Music Hall on Friday evening.

Although Prince William and Middleton will be in the United States this week, they are not expected to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been living in Los Angeles, California, since their retirement from royal duties in 2020.
