Kanye West was named as one of the victims of the internet death hoax trend, which was sparked by his ex-business manager reporting him missing, but he’s apparently fine.

In fact, the “Gold Digger” rapper may be keeping a low profile by avoiding paparazzi, social media, and even the person who reported him missing!

According to recent reports, West was seen alive and well leaving a church after attending a service.

People who saw the rapper as he left the church took pictures of him, and he was wearing a green bomber jacket, a camouflage cap, and jeans.

The Daily Loud broke the news of West’s disappearance on Twitter, and netizens flocked to share their thoughts.

While some were genuinely concerned, others found the situation amusing and made light of it.

A Twitter user wrote:

“Fell out a window.”

Another user wrote, alongside a photo of the rapper snoozing:

“He’s fine. He’s just taking a nap.”

Another user wrote in reference to the fictional country in Marvel films:

“He’s in Wakanda.”

Ironically, one netizen remarked, “he probably finding God as usual,” which turned out to be somewhat true when he was spotted in a church.

While many are relieved to hear that West is doing well, many speculated that he may not simply be taking a break from the spotlight, but may be hiding from Thomas St. John, the very person who reported him missing.

However, despite numerous rumors, West was never missing in the first place, according to HITC.

Perhaps West was making himself scarce because of a disagreement with St. John.

According to reports, the rapper was supposed to pay St. John a $300,000 monthly retainer, but after an “aggressive” meeting, West stopped paying him and essentially bounced.

Court documents read:

“[St. John] needed a guarantee that [West] wouldn’t abruptly abandon the commercial relationship, in addition to the financial costs and hazards associated with committing to [Kanye West] as client. but Mr. St. John offered to settle for a contract lasting at least 18 months. [sic]”

That being said, perhaps a portion of the rumor has been resolved: perhaps West was simply hiding from St. John in order to avoid the monthly retainer.

None of these, however, have been confirmed by West or his team and are simply allegations leveled against the disgraced rapper.
