Most parents are both scared and excited about the arrival of a new child. Choosing a name for your child is also one of the most important things a parent must do before giving birth.
Many people in Hollywood have made fun of celebrity parents naming their children.
Kylie Jenner, who is married to rapper Travis Scott, has finally revealed the name of their most recent child, whom she gave birth to in February 2022.
Kylie Jenner’s second son, Stormy’s younger brother, has remained unknown to many people until today.
Jenner shared a carousel of photos of herself with her son, named “Aire,” on Instagram. Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, commented on the same post, expressing her affection for her grandson.
Kris wrote:
“I love you Aire Webster.”
As a result, fans speculated that Kris’ remark was a confirmation of Kylie Jenner’s youngest son’s name.
While the name, like his cousins, sounds lovely, many have pointed out the strange meaning of the word when translated into another language.
According to Newsweek, “Aire” means “lion of God” in Hebrew, and it exudes strength, honor, and stability.
When translated into Arabic, the word “Aire” has a rather unflattering meaning, according to some Kylie Jenner fans.
Mediaverse Australia Antonette Lattouf said in a post on Twitter:
“Umm should someone tell Kylie Jenner she renamed her son Aire which is a common Arabic expression for ‘my penis’ or nah?”
Many people on social media were surprised by what appeared to be a great name, holding a seemingly unbecoming title for a cute child like him.
A commenter said on Instagram:
“God help her if she comes to the Middle East.”
Another echoed on Twitter:
“That was my first reaction…she named her kid what?!?”
A user suggested:
“She should’ve just stuck with Wolf. Wasn’t that the original name? I’d also like to inform everyone who clinks glasses and says ‘chin chin’ that it means penis in Japanese.”
To be fair, the Kardashian and Jenner families have chosen some unusual names for their children. North, Chicago, Palm, and Saint are the names of Kim and Kanye’s children. While Khloe’s only child was named True, Kourtney’s three children were given more conventional names: Penelope, Mason, and Reign.
According to Urban Dictionary, “aire” or “ayre” is Arabic for “best friend,” but it can also refer to the penis, depending on how it is used.
