Kelly Brianne Clarkson was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 24, 1982, to Jeanne Taylor and Stephen Clarkson. Clarkson, on the other hand, was raised in Burleson, Texas. According to ImdB, Kelly has one brother named Jason and one sister named Alyssa.

Kelly attended Burleson High School and graduated in 2000. Before pursuing a music career, the singer worked as a cocktail waitress in two comedy clubs in Texas.

On September 4, 2002, Kelly was the first winner of the American Idol singing competition show’s first season. Clarkson’s debut single sold nearly 250,000 copies in its first week. The song’s title is “A Moment Like This.” After debuting at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song rose to number one.

On September 11, 2002, Clarkson sang the national anthem at The Day of Service in Washington, D.C. According to Allmusic.com, the AI winner has recently released nine studio albums.

Kelly and Brandon Blackstock’s divorce was finalized in March 2022. According to US Magazine, Brandon and Kelly have two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander. Kelly is putting her children’s needs and welfare first, despite her divorce from their father.

Kelly’s upcoming album features songs that were mostly inspired by her divorce. According to NBC, Clarkson has announced the title of her new album, “Chemistry,” which will be released in June 2023.
