Is Pete Davidson longing for his former life?

The comedian left “Saturday Night Live” just months after starting a relationship with Kim Kardashian.

On the other hand, Pete is now mocked by his friends for leaving the show that made him famous for pursuing his then-girlfriend. Their romance was unfortunately short-lived, as it ended after nine months.

According to a source who spoke with the National Enquirer (via IBTimes), the 28-year-old Staten Island native is pleading with the hit NBC show’s executives to reinstate him in his previous TV job now that they have split up.

According to the report, his employees publicly questioned whether “he killed the goose that laid the golden eggs by leaving the program.”

They said that now that Pete had gotten a taste of life away from the legendary Saturday night show and was directing movies, he was suffering from buyer’s remorse.

The insider stated:

“In Pete’s dream world, he could be on SNL, working his stand-up comedy, and shooting films.”

Another source stated that Pete wishes to reclaim his previous life because everything for the comic with the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was turned upside down, including his reason for leaving the show.

There is little evidence, however, that Pete Davidson wishes to return to his “former” life or what that old life entails. There’s also no evidence that he’s begging his way back onto “Saturday Night Live,” so take the news with a grain of salt.

It’s unclear what went wrong in Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s relationship, but fans were shocked to learn of their breakup.

According to multiple sources, the former couple struggled to maintain a relationship because they both have extremely demanding schedules.

Kim and Pete’s romance ended after several months of controversy, including a public disagreement with her ex-husband Kanye West, since they began dating in October 2021.

The “Donda” rapper had aggressively mocked Pete and even celebrated their breakup, uploading a forged newspaper article proclaiming Pete’s death.

Kim stated about their connection before their divorce:

“Pete has got to be the finest human being I’ve ever met. ‘He’s so amusing,’ people usually say. That’s about the fourth reason I like him.”
