On her 42nd birthday, Kim Kardashian reflects on her career as an influencer.

“If you asked me to pick fame or fortune, I would not pick fame. It’s always been about working hard and making money. I never worked hard. I had a job all through high school, always worked and was always proud to work, whether in a clothing store or for my dad. I never wanted an easy ride or a free ticket.”

While her peers were out partying, Kim had been working since her early twenties, citing her discipline as one of the keys to achieving her desired lifestyle.

Kim shared about maintaining a great lifestyle:

“I’ve always been really committed to something. I definitely think that it can be discouraging. It can be exhausting. But you really do have to put the time in and put the work in. And really just stay focused.”

Kim has also revealed that she has been studying law to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer.
