Hailey Bieber stole Justin Bieber away from Selena Gomez? Model speaks up about issue for the first time

According to Hailey Bieber, only the “truth” will set everyone free.

After celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary, Hailey opened up for the first time about her husband, Justin Bieber, and the singer’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

Hailey addressed the issue on a Wednesday snippet of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, putting the rumors about her and Jelena to rest. The podcast’s official Instagram excited viewers by sharing a sneak peek of the model’s response to Alex Cooper’s question.

The host asked:

“People were obsessed with [Justin and Selena] being together. Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as her?”

Hailey then revealed the truth, claiming that she never stole Selena’s “Yummy” singer. She said that the rumors had unfortunately led to her receiving hate comments from the general public.

Selena and Justin started dating in 2010 when the singer of “Love You Like a Love Song” was 18 and Hailey’s now-husband was 16. Jelena had their first breakup in 2012, but they later reconciled.

They had on-and-off relationships until they finally split up in 2018.

Justin began dating the model and proposed in July 2018, just months after Jelena’s divorce. They married in a New York City courthouse in September of the same year.

While it was the first time she addressed the rumors, Hailey had been through a lot recently due to Selena’s supporters.

When Selena released “Lose You To Love Me” in 2019, they appeared to have a heated exchange. Selena confirmed in an interview on the “Zach Sang Show” that the song was about Justin and that she wanted him to listen to it.

After the released single, fans noticed Hailey threatened Selena with a subtle Instagram story post, but the singer defended the model and told everyone to be nice.

Unfortunately, it persisted in the following years. Hailey appeared to be in tears as she and Justin walked the Met Gala red carpet. The crowd was chanting Selena’s name at the time, prompting her to ask her team for sunglasses to cover her eyes.
