Bumper Allen has returned, but he is now frolicking in Berlin, Germany! If you don’t remember who Bumper Allen is, he was the leader of the acapella group Treblemakers in Adam Devine’s hit 2012 musical comedy “Pitch Perfect.”

Five years after “Pitch Perfect 3” was released in theaters, a spin-off series titled “Bumper in Berlin” will now star the lovable yet arrogant Bumper as he makes his way out of collegiate acapella.

Devine’s character Bumper Allen surprised everyone in what appeared to be his vlog, recorded via what appeared to be a zoom recording of himself, in a recently released trailer.

He said on the trailer:

“Hey everyone, it’s me, Bumper Allen! I know I might’ve been off the grid for a little while, but I’ve been busy putting together a little mash-up for you guys. So, check it out. You might recognize a familiar face…or seven.”

Turns out, all seven of his faces are interchangeable and in a strip film of carousels of his face as he mashed up two hit classics – a-“Take ha’s On Me” and Nena’s “99 Luftballoons.”

According to Billboard, Adam Devine will not be alone on the new Peacock series, as another familiar face will join him.

Aside from the “Pitch Perfect” series, Devine was best known for his role as Andy in “Modern Family.” Sarah Hyland, whose recent wedding marked a grand reunion of some “Modern Family” stars, will appear on “Bumper in Berlin” with Devine.

For those who don’t remember, Devine and Hyland shared a lot of screen time on the Emmy Award-winning comedy series. According to the show’s fanbase, they became on-screen couples who became one of the show’s ultimate couples. Despite their undeniable chemistry, the ship sank, and Haley eventually married Dylan, his on-again, off-again boyfriend, much to the chagrin of many fans.

Although it has not yet been confirmed whether the two will enter a romantic relationship in the new series. Aside from Hyland, “The Good Place” alum Jameela Jamil and Flula Borg, who worked on the second “Pitch Perfect” film, will be new additions.

Elizabeth Banks will executive produce “Bumper in Berlin,” which will premiere on Peacock on Thanksgiving 2022.
