It’s been years since the Spice Girls performed together, and it appears they will be back on stage soon, as Sporty Spice teased; will Victoria Beckham join them this time?

Mel C, real name Melani Chisholm, told ET Online that she couldn’t believe the famous girl group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

She noted that it was a fun run to share the success with her bandmates, who had already achieved massive success with “Spice World,” their movie, and previous albums.

Sporty Spice teased a possible tour comeback by saying they did something similar in 2021 when they went through their archives looking for unreleased music, which led to the release of the project “Spice: The First Album.”

They discovered live performances that have all been remastered and “beautifully packaged” now that they will be releasing a new album, and it’s fun for them to take a trip down memory lane and enjoy their old songs.

Mel C teased fans about a possible tour, saying they are “constantly talking” about performing again because it is only a “matter of time.”

They reunited for a reunion tour in 2019, but they could only perform in the United Kingdom because COVID-19 restricted them and many other artists months later.

She told Nischelle Turner:

“We are constantly talking about opportunities and getting back out there. It’s just going to be a matter of time. It’s something we do want to do, and I think especially with all these lovely anniversaries we’re celebrating.”

Sporty Spice reveals that the Spice Girls are currently planning “loads of fun stuff” and bits and pieces, so fans should expect a lot from them.

Mel C is excited to go on tour again, especially in the United States, where they have always had an “incredible fan base.”

Regarding Victoria Beckham, AKA Posh Spice’s participation, the singer stated that they are currently only four on board. Still, they would love for their former bandmate to join them because the offer is always there, and she is always invited.

The vocalist later clarified that Beckham is still a member of their band, despite her absence from recent projects.

She added:

“We’re still very much a five piece, like behind the scenes.”

As of this writing, no official tour dates or announcements about a Spice Girls reunion tour have been made.
