For years, Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have been at odds over Justin Bieber, with the former having a romantic relationship with him and the model currently married to the pop star.
Many fans have been discussing a rumored issue between them, but it appears that things are improving after they were spotted together at an event.
According to Us Weekly Magazine, the two stars appeared in good spirits when spotted at the Academy Museum of Pictures’ annual gala.
The 25-year-old model walked the red carpet in an open-stomach brown Saint Laurent gown, while the “Lose You to Love Me” songstress wore a chic black suit.
Later that evening, they met inside the Academy Awards Museum, where photographer Tyrell Hampton captured a photo of them together. He captioned the photo “Plot twist” and posted it to Instagram.
The two stars appear to be having a good time bumping into each other in the photo, with Gomez smiling and closing her eyes while Justin Bieber’s wife stares directly at the camera with a drink in her hand.
Justin Bieber did not attend the event.
The latest sighting comes just a few weeks after the content creator appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, where she explained what happened between her and the singer behind closed doors.
Fans began bullying Bieber after it was claimed that she “stole” her husband from Gomez, and there was an “overlap” between her and the Rare Beauty founder’s relationship with the Canadian icon.
She also revealed that she maintained private contact with the former Disney star after marrying her partner.
She added:
“That’s why I’m like, it’s all respect, it’s all love. That’s also why I feel like if everybody on our side knows what happened and we’re good and we could walk away from it with clarity and respect then that’s fine.”
Selena Gomez, on the other hand, took to her official TikTok account’s live stream, seemingly debunking the allegations against her and Bieber, saying some are “just vile and disgusting.”
Justin Bieber has not publicly addressed the incident, but a source told the outlet that he is proud of his wife for speaking out in the interview.
