Fans have wondered if Billy Ray Cyrus and his new girlfriend Firerose are planning a wedding since the latter posted a series of photos in September. Some keen observers noticed she was wearing a large rock on her ring finger.
If the inconspicuous photos sparked engagement rumors, new photos uploaded by the 61-year-old singer appeared to confirm it to all.
The two posed for the camera, cuddled against each other in Cyrus’ new Instagram post. It was accompanied by an orange heart and the caption “Happy Autumn.”
Fans were more interested in the massive, gleaming diamond the singer-songwriter was wearing on her ring finger than in the beautiful trees that were turning orange.
According to reports, Cyrus began his relationship with Firerose after his divorce from Tish Cyrus. Although the two have only recently begun divorce proceedings, they have not lived together in over two years and have been on-again and off-again for over a decade.
“Billy is happier than he has been in a long time with Firerose,” a source close to the two confirmed Cyrus’ relationship with the much younger singer, whose age is still unknown.
There isn’t much information available about Firerose, but according to reports, she is an Australian singer-songwriter who became close to the country singer after working together.

However, some fans are surprised to learn that the singer is already engaged in divorce proceedings with his soon-to-be ex-wife after only five months.
