Miley Cyrus snubs Billy Ray Cyrus following his shocking engagement to 34-year-old singer Firerose

Miley Cyrus is said to be shocked and outraged after learning that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is engaged to a singer who is only a few years her senior.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine, Billy Ray confirmed his engagement to Firerose, a 34-year-old Australian singer. The relationship began after his ex-wife, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce in April, ending their 28-year marriage.

Following the announcement, Miley was said to be disgusted by her father’s new relationship.

A source told Radar Online:

“Miley was already shocked and appalled that Billy Ray and Firerose were hooking up, so now that he’s stuck a ring on this gal’s finger, it’s a step beyond and a real kick in the teeth. Miley’s very protective of her mom, and the consensus is that their dad’s being a jack— and throwing his life and money away on this girl.”

Another source claimed that the former Disney child star refused to speak with her father after separating from him.

The new report comes after other sources claimed that the “Wrecking Ball” singer had had enough of her father. Things reportedly got worse when her parents divorced, with some claiming that it was a schism that would never heal.

Miley also spoke out about her father profiting from her fame since she appeared in the hit TV show “Hannah Montana.” Her mother was the only person who looked out for her at the time.

Among the claims, another insider expressed concern that Miley would relapse into alcoholism as her father’s engagement became a major trigger for her.

Liam Hemsworth’s ex-wife admitted to relapsing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, she was able to assist herself in regaining her sobriety.

Last summer, the “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” singer decided to eliminate alcohol from her system and lifestyle completely.

She has been through a lot in the last few years, from her divorce from Hemsworth to the tragic wildfire that destroyed their Malibu home.

For the time being, Miley is keeping her head up and hoping there is still “good time” for some things to happen.
