Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel married in Italy on October 19, 2012. They are currently celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary, and the singer had some kind words for his wife.
Timberlake took to Instagram to share photos of himself with Biel, writing:
“10 years ain’t enough! You make me a better husband and father every day! I love you so much, you beautiful human! Run it back!”
When asked how they’ve stayed together for so long, Biel said that the singer keeps their romance alive.
“Well, I’ll have to give Justin the credit [at] this moment, for this one thing that he always says to me: ‘We might be married, but we have to keep dating,’ and it’s so true.”
She also added:
“You just have to keep making time for each other and you have to keep making each other a priority. And do the things that you love together.”
Timberlake also spoke lovingly about his wife, demonstrating how much he adored her. He wrote in his book “Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me” (2018):
“I’m fascinated by her. She’s everything. […] She always surprises me with who she is and who she’s becoming. I want to do the same for her. I can’t wait to see what she does next.”
The couple’s two children, Silas and Phineas, were born in 2012 and 2020. According to reports, they kept the pregnancy a secret until six months later, when they revealed the exciting news.
Timberlake and Biel have mostly kept their relationship private. They kept things low-key when they first started dating.
Of course, their more-than-a-decade-long relationship was not without its challenges. According to reports, they split up in March 2011, but it did not take long for them to rekindle their relationship in November of the same year.
Timberlake was seen holding hands with Alisha Wainwright, his co-star in “Palmer,” in 2019. The 41-year-old singer, however, insisted that he had no affair with his co-star and publicly apologized to his wife.
He wrote:
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my co-star.”
“[…] I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
All of that, however, is now water under the bridge, as they appear to be holding strong after welcoming their second child in 2020.
