Rebecca Romijn and her husband, Jerry O’Connell, may not be suitable for the reality show.
Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn married in 2007 and celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary last July. The actress and director couple are big fans of Bravo’s reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Jerry O’Connell expressed his desire to be one of the reality show’s househusbands, claiming that he resembled Mauricio Umansky, the husband of “RHOBH” star Kyle Richards, and Ken Todd, who is married to Lisa Vanderpump.
Fans have long expressed their desire to see Rebecca Romijn on the reality show, as evidenced by social media posts.
Despite her husband Jerry O’Connell’s encouragement to join the reality show as one of the housewives, Rebecca stated that one of the reasons she won’t be able to handle the fighting and drama.
Rebecca Romijn told Us Weekly:
“We’re such fans of the franchise, but you know, the truth is probably not. I really would rather talk about them than be one of them. I feel like I would miss out on the gossip part of it. Or I guess, they all gossip when they’re on the show, but I don’t like fighting.”
In addition, after being booed during the recent BravoCon, where he served as a panel moderator, husband Jerry O’Connell stated that he could not handle drama the same way reality star Lisa Rinna does.
O’Connell remembered:
“Going to BravoCon this weekend and seeing Lisa Rinna get booed … was a little scary. Like, that was 8,000 people booing somebody and Lisa handled it really well. And Lisa’s great on that show, you know.”
Aside from being a reality show fan, Rebecca has close ties with stars like Denise Richards, as Rebecca and Jerry both appeared in a cameo at her star-studded Malibu wedding to husband Aaron Phypers in 2018.
